CJ Wang Foundation
The mission of the CJ Wang Foundation is to support education and athletic initiatives that provide space and resources to foster tomorrow’s visionaries.
Our Story
The CJ Wang Foundation was founded by CJ Xuning Wang and his family in 2025 with the mission of supporting education and athletic initiatives that provide the space and resources to foster the creativity of tomorrow’s visionaries.
CJ Wang is a lifelong advocate of enabling education for more proactive minds. While he was a young teacher in 1994, he used his engineering and innovation skills to invent the automatic soymilk machine. This soymilk machine was the first product of the company he founded in China, Joyoung, now a major home appliance brand. Through the Joyoung Foundation, Mr. Wang has helped equip elementary schools in impoverished rural communities with “Joyoung Hope Kitchens” that are fully stocked with the equipment and essentials to provide students with nourishing meals.
As a continuation of this legacy, the CJ Wang Foundation now addresses more advanced needs of students by providing academic institutions with Maker Space facilities and innovation centers, places for hands-on creativity and creation. The foundation also fosters health, camaraderie and international exchange through hosting youth athletic events and scholarships.
The spirit of innovation that built the first automatic soymilk machine and many more home appliances has led to an improved quality of life for countless families around the world, while also providing the means for CJ Wang and his family to support philanthropic endeavors for over three decades. The CJ Wang Foundation aims to foster such active innovation in future generations through targeted charitable giving and impactful investing.
